EN03 Presentation of the Order of the Temple in Cipérez (Castilla y León)

With the presence of the Grand Master of the Order of the Temple, Armando Méndez Serrada, the Sovereign Spanish Master Order of the Knights Templar was presented yesterday Friday in Cipérez in order to spread its values and activities that it promotes. The event was also attended by the Senescal of the Order, Alberto Calleja, as well as the gentleman of the Order, Julio Talavante Caballero, who together with the mayor of the town, Francisco Alonso, were in charge of presiding over the table in the talk held in the multipurpose.

After thanking the presence of the public, the Grand Master announced during his speech the creation of an Entrustment in Cipérez, the first so far in Castilian and Leonese lands, so Armando Mendez invited all those close to the current values of the Order and that they can be summarized in: the struggle against materialism, ungodliness and tyranny in the world; the defense of the sanctity of the individual; and the defense of the sanctity of the individual;

After the talk, the Templar delegation, accompanied by deputies, mayors and councilors of the area, as well as several businessmen, visited the facilities of Obleas Pan de Ángel, which as always gave its visitors with this rich product of international fame. The presentation of the Sovereign Spanish Military Order of the Knights Templar, and as a gesture of courtesy to the invitation, were attended by the provincial deputies José Francisco Bautista (PSOE) and Manuel Hernández (C’s), in addition to the mayors of Vitigudino, El Cubo de Don Sancho and Yecla de Yeltes, among others.
