The Master is that Knight or Lady who the National Council has estimated must ascend to that degree, permanently, until his resignation or death. The badge is the Grand Cross of the Order and the red band and staff of command. The uniform of gala, suit or dress like that of the Knights and Ladies.

The investitures of the Sovereign Spanish Magistral Order of the Knights Templar represent one of the most solemn and significant acts of the life of the Order. They formalize the commitment of those who, after a process of knowledge and reflection, assume the principles, values and responsibilities that define the Templar tradition.

These acts, held over the years, reflect the historical continuity, institutional respect and vocation of service that characterize the Order, as well as the spirit of fraternity and dignity that unites its members.
